The last few tickets for the black tie gala performance of Derby Gilbert & Sullivan Company’s version of ‘HMS Pinafore’ are still available. The performance will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday 11 September in the Chatsworth Theatre. Tickets are £50 per person and include champagne and canapés during the interval, and an opportunity to meet the cast in costume in the Sculpture Gallery.

Exclusive launch of the Dowager Duchess's memoirs 'Wait for Me!' at the Chatsworth Country Fair
It has been announced that 300 copies of the Dowager Duchess’s memoirs, ‘Wait for Me!’ will be available exclusively from the Chatsworth retail tent at the Country Fair on Sunday 5th September from 2.30pm. Her Grace’s memoirs are not due for general release until Thursday 9th September, but visitors to the Country Fair and Chatsworth will be able to pick up a copy before this date; on Sunday 5 September from the Country Fair and from Monday 6 September onwards from all Chatsworth shops. The Dowager Duchess will attend the Country Fair herself for two scheduled book signing sessions at 2.30pm on Friday 3 and 2.30pm on Sunday 5 September. If you don’t get a chance to pick up a copy, don’t miss the first extract from ‘Wait for Me!’ in this weekend’s Sunday Times.
